Personal profile


Dr Dongna Zhang holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of York, UK. Prior to joining Northumbria, she was a Senior Lecturer in Economics at Teesside University International Business School. 

Research interests

Dr Zhang’s research interests include financial economics, macro-finance, empirical asset pricing and corporate finance. Her research findings have shed light on the UK under-investment puzzle and provided policy implications on industrial strategy.
