Research interests

Lucy is a social scientist working within the fields of urban studies and social policy. Lucy‘s research interests include welfare and poverty; community work, participation and governance; equality and gender. Lucy has undertaken several evaluation research projects for public and third sector organisations. Lucy has a particular interest in feminist and participatory research.

Biography

Lucy Grimshaw joined the Department in 2013 and teaches on BA (Homs) Childhood and Early Years Studies and BSc (Homs) Social Work.

Lucy is a social scientist working within the fields of urban studies and social policy. Lucy’s research interests include welfare and poverty; community work, participation and governance; equality and gender. Lucy has undertaken several evaluation research projects for public and third sector organisations and has a particular interest in feminist and participatory research.
