Biography

Currently completing PhD research with a focus on Gender in Education, Pip is a teacher educator and consultant. A Literacy Specialist having worked within a variety of settings including alternative provision and Further Education colleges. A primary school teacher for 20+ years, Pip has a passion for promoting inclusive approaches to learning.

Pip has taught across both Initial Teacher Education (ITE) and non-QTS courses delivering Primary Teacher Training, leading modules on Equality, Diversity & Inclusion, Childhood, and Special Educational Needs, with a particular interest in Gender Diversity and LGBTQ+ and Trans inclusion. Pip identifies as non-binary and uses they/them pronouns.
